SWANS CONFIRMED 2007 ALGRAVE TOUR: - The wabbits are looking forward to play Swans Hockey Club once again. Games are schedduled for the 4th, 5th and 6th of May. 

WABBITS WENT PAINTBALL : - Last Saturday the 13th of January 8 of the usual hockey players plus two guests went for 2 hours of great fun paintball in the woods surrounding the Algarve University.

P.S. No wabbits were harmed during the shooting.

ENGLAND TOUR - Our team went to London for two friendly matches against Swans Hockey Club. On Friday the 13th we played them at Brunel University Campus and Lost 5-3. On Sunday the 15th we played them again, this time with a win (11-1) at Eastcote  Hockey and Badminton Club.

SKILLS  TRAINING PROGRAM - Every Tuesday 19h30 at Browns Sports & Leisure in Vilamoura.

ALGARVE WACKY WABBITS Mixed Hockey Club is a exciting group with an ambition to have a good time and have fun as well as offering something to do every week. The club caters for all abilities, even absolute beginners who have never even touched a hockey stick before.

Our usual training days are: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7.30pm on the Browns Sports and Leisure Club in Vilamoura (see map). Just turn up and We'll get you going.

After training we usually have a drink in the Club’s bar and then go for a bite to eat. Join the circle for banter, games, and a chance to socialize with other members.

Schedule of events:

Socials - this includes paintball, dining out, BBQ's, pub crawls, and nightclubs.

Mini tour – Every Second year we go to Lisbon to play in the Casuals Tournament. The year in between we go up to the North to play with our good friend at Lamas Hockey Club.

Main tour - Past tours include Spain, Greece, Germany, Gibraltar and England. We try to go on a main tour at least every two years.

Other events - We get regular invitations to play against clubs that come on tour to the Algarve. Browns hockey tournaments.
