Under the glorious sun on Saturday 4th October Browns Sport and Leisure Club hosted a field hockey meeting, participated by four teams, Algarve Wacky Wabbits ‘A’ & ‘B’ and C.F.U Lamas ‘A’ & ‘B’. With perfect conditions and a grass pitch of superb quality some of the Algarve’s finest field hockey action was evident and Lamas ‘A’ emerged as the victorious winner. The successful day ended with all teams attending a Gala dinner and award ceremony at Browns Bar and Restaurant.
